THE LOCATION
Made famous by Robin Hood and his ‘merry men’. No tights are not compulsory, but gallons of their ‘finest ale’ most definitely is.

Nottingham stag nights in this city that is ready, willing and able to host your party, have proven that Nottingham is the ‘Daddy’.

We’re talking a city that allegedly claims to have a female/male ratio of 5:1, 6:1 or even (some claim) 7:1 – after your stag party Nottingham, please report back we need a definitive answer.

Set in the heart of England, partygoers have revelled in bars along the canal side, the ‘lace market’ and in market square. You get the picture, stag nights in Nottingham … party on!

On a sporting front this city takes pride in the 2 football clubs, although it is bitter rivalry when Notts County meet Nottingham Forrest! Not to be outdone the sport of cricket can shout loud about its Test matches at Trent Bridge.

Just by way of a brief history lesson, you may be interested to hear that in the times of William the Conqueror the original settlement was named Snotingham – no, that’s not a misprint. After William built his castle on the hill a town grew in the valley and the name soon changed to Nottingham – phew!

The DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum, the Lace Making Industry and the Nottingham Goose Fair add some diversity to what this ‘Heart of England’ city has to offer.

Thank you we had a very good time in Nottingham. Everyone got nicely bruised from the paintball and soaked in a mud bath from the quads. To finish off the day we had a huge party at the nightclub and I was impressed by their understanding staff (including the door staff-now thats rare). It was awesome.

For the day light hours you could try:

Nottingham Stag Paintball: Semi-automatic guns at the ready … bring it on…. Imagine the setting, Sherwood Forrest. Exchange arrows for guns and you’ve got yourself the upgraded 2005 version!!!

Nottingham Stag Weekends Quad Bikes: calling all ‘boy racers’ Get kitted out with race suit, gloves and helmets and after a safety briefing its 2 practice laps on the open track. Go for it on your two 15 mins treks. Normally 4 quad per group, so its competition time!

Or try Rally Driving, Off Road Karting, Go Karting or Off Road 4 x 4 all designed to quell ‘the need for speed’.

Other options include Clay Pigeon shooting, a round of Golf or Jet Ski. The choice, as they say, is yours.

After dark:

Nottingham Stag Night Comedy Evening: Not only ‘side splitting’ stuff, you get fed and there’s after show music for a dance.

Nottingham Medieval Banquet: Time-travelling back to the Henry VIII era. There’ll be Court jesters, Jousting knights and Costumed minstrels to entertain, whilst you tuck into the food served by a bevy of buxom wenches.

Hey, groovy baby – yes, its flares, wing collars, D.I.S.C.O. 70’s night.

The alcoholic way to travel: sounds like a crossword puzzle, it must be the Booze Cruise.

A Who Dunnit, Hercule Poirot meets Sherlock Holmes night could be Murder Mystery, you work it out.

Have a smashing time, quite literally at the Greek Night. Drink some Ouzo, listen to some Bazouka playing, eat some taramasalata followed by mousaka and of course smash a few plates for good measure.
